Freetimers will host its monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana. All Youngstown State University retirees are invited.
PERI Chapter 56 will host its annual District 11 meeting May 22 at DiLucia’s, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Registration will take place from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., and closing remarks start at 2 p.m. OPERS director Karen Carraher and retired Ohio Retirement Study Council president Aristotle Hutras are the guest speakers. St. Angela Merici Senior Group, “Senior Moments,” will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church hall. Lunch is $5, then bingo will be played. Membership dues are $5 per year. SOAR 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees – Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church in Austintown. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.
Trumbull County AFSCME Retirees Subchapter 128 will meet at 1 p.m. May 13 at United Steelworker’s Local 2155 Carl Dittmer Hall, 1265 N. Main St., Niles. Robert Fenn, public relations specialist, from the Akron office of the Social Security Administration, will be the guest speaker and will discuss the Windfall Elimination Provision and Government Pension Offset laws. TMH Retirees Club will host a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. May 13 at the Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. The speaker will be Laurie Barber, CNO of Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
