Samantha Mirto, John Colla plan summer nuptials

St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown has been chosen as the setting for the Aug. 10 wedding of Samantha Mirto and John Colla, both of Cleveland, whose engagement is being announced by their parents. The bride-elect’s parents are Amy Mirto of Warren and the late Dr. Larry Mirto. John and Mary Colla of Austintown are the prospective groom’s parents.

Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception that will take place that evening at Stambaugh Auditorium.

Miss Mirto received a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and is pursuing a master’s degree in nursing at Case Western Reserve University. She is a registered nurse at University Hospitals, specializing in oncology.

Mr. Colla earned a graduate degree from Youngstown State University and is a chartered financial analyst. He is employed with Clearstead Advisors LLC in Cleveland as a director within its institutional consulting group.
