Evan Kenneally threw a five-inning no-hitter for the Clippers and was a walk short of a perfect game. He had three strikeouts. Ryan Fahs, Chase Franken and Michael Ginocchi each had two hits for the Clippers.

Trey Gianni pitched the final two innings for Fitch (16-6) while allowing just one hit and no runs to pick up the win. Brett Porter pitched the first five innings and struck out four for the Falcons. Bobby Cavalier had two hits to lead the Fitch offense.

STRUTHERS
Brandon Arnold drove in the tying run in the top of the seventh inning for Warren Harding (7-12) at Bob Cene Park. Bret Brown followed that by bringing home the go ahead run for the Raiders. Elijah Taylor totaled two hits for Harding. Cavin Stouffer was the winning pitcher, striking out five over seven innings. Ursuline (10-10) was led by Pat Donofrio with two hits and an RBI and John Schatzel with a hit and an RBI.

Braeden Olson contributed three hits, two runs scored and a RBI for the Bulldogs. Jeremy Castro doubled and drove in three runs. Zachary Yaskulka doubled. Braeden O’Shaughnessy scored twice. For the Eagles, H. Fox had two hits and a RBI.

Winning pitcher Caleb Quinn (3-0) scattered six hits for the Blue Devils (11-7, 7-5 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference. He struck out five, walked three and hit two batters. At the plate, Quinn had two hits and walked twice. Dan Windham’s three hits included a triple and double and drove in two runs. Nick Niemi’s two hits drove in two runs. Jake Pappagallo and Cody Wise each had two hits and Ryan Slaven doubled. For the Rams, Koby Zupko doubled.

STRUTHERS
Anthony Tamburro led the McDonald offense with three hits and drove in three runs. Zach Nolf added two hits and three RBIs for the Blue Devils. For Lowellville, Matt Hvisdak struck out seven batters while Dylan Durkin and Bryan Harris drove in runs.

Braden Gebhardt struck out 11 and walked six while giving up three hits in five and a third innings of work to get the win for Howland. Ray Kaso and Luca Massucci each hit a double for the Tigers. Grayson Beamer gave up three earned runs while taking the loss for Louisville.

Austin Clausell’s two-run double and Nick DeGregory’s RBI single in the third inning was enough to lift Girard. Matt Miles pitched a complete game for the Indians. Cameron Hollobaugh knocked in both of Warren JFK’s runs.

Mason Robison’s two hits drove in three runs and he scored twice for the Blue Jays (9-11). Kent Gross contributed two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs. Joey Williams had two hits and scored twice. For the Pirates, Tristan Kanoch had four hits and three RBIs.

Ricky Enlow scored one of the Quakers’ runs and Adam Wilson took the loss, allowing six hits. He struck out five. The Quakers are 9-11, 5-5 Eastern Buckeye Conference.

Austintown Fitch won the All-American Conference Red Tier outright. Lydia Spalding struck out five in the win. Lauren Fitzgerald took the loss for the Cardinals. Kayla Kelty hit three singles for the Falcons and Abby Brown hit two singles, a double and a triple. Mary Gomez hit a home run and drove in three RBIs for the Cardinals. Aiden Orlovsky also hit a home run and drove in two.

MCDONALD
McDonald clinched the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference for its fourth conference title in five years in a game that was continued from last Thursday. Bri Callow finished her start with 11 strikeouts while conceding two runs on three hits and a walk while adding two hits at the plate. Megan Ward and Lucy Wolford each had two hits and a double for the Blue Devils (14-3, 14-0).

Ashley Wire was 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs and pitched all 13 innings to deliver for Poland. Brooke Bobbey had four hits and Ally Nittoli also hit a home run. Jackie Adler, Alexis Najdusak, Haley Croyle and Hannah Kist each hit a double for Hubbard.

Jacqueline Kish doubled and drove in two runs. Makenzy Capouellez also drove in two runs. Kish picked up the mound win, scattering five hits over five innings of work. Kish struck out two and walked one.

Winning pitcher Jordan Anderson tossed a four-hitter as the Warriors (21-3, 10-1 Eastern Buckeye Conference) earned a share of the league crown. She struck out six. Grace Heath had two hits. For Canton South, Taylor Catlett had two hits.

MINERVA
Salem had two players set single-season records in the win. Hayden Carner drove in her 24th RBI and Taylor Thrope struck out eight for her 13 win. Elly Exline had three hits and scored three runs for the Quakers. Carner, Meg Rossero and Rylie Troy all hit RBI doubles in the three-run seventh inning for the come-from-behind victory. Brooke Veglia extended her hit streak to 11 games.
