Airmen of Note in concert

The Airmen of Note will give a free concert at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown at 7:30 p.m. June 27. The U.S. Air Force’s premiere jazz ensemble, the Airmen of Note was founded in 1950 to continue the tradition of Major Glenn Miller’s Army Air Force dance band. The ensemble consists of 18 active duty Airmen musicians, including one vocalist, and performs its own style of big band jazz and contemporary music.
