Emily Newman, Jarrod Carley to marry in May

Christopher and Anna Marie Newman of Poland and Ken and Robin Carley of Dayton, Ky., are announcing the engagement of their children, Emily Newman and Jarrod Carley, both of Chicago.

The couple will be united in marriage May 11 during a 3 p.m. ceremony at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Chicago. A reception will take place that evening at the Chicago Illuminating Co.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in visual communications and is a marketing content manager for Kitchfix in Chicago.

The prospective groom graduated from OU with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He is a clinical specialist at Boston Scientific Corp. in Chicago.
