Elza, Drapola earn county honors

The Trumbull County Coaches Association has selected basketball players Gage Elza of Bristol and Bailey Drapola of Brookfield on Sunday as Trumbull County Players of the Year.

Elza averaged 26 points per game as Bristol won a Division IV district title this year. Drapola, an Akron commit for softball, averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game.
