Newcomers to meet

Newcomers of Mahoning Valley will host a social luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Johnny’s, 7807 Market St. The group will choose a charity for the year and officially elect officers. They also will be deciding when the birthday group and Roundtowners will meet.

The book club will meet Thursday, needlework will meet April 9, and movie group will meet April 17. They will be discussing Lisa Scottoline’s book,“One Perfect Lie.” Next month’s luncheon will be April 24 and a speaker will discuss immigration.

Newcomers was formed more than 25 years ago to offer those with lifestyle changes an opportunity to meet new people and become acquainted with events and places in the community. Any questions should be directed to 330-757-7212 or 330-758-3934.
