Eastern Gateway extends win streak

SPRINGFIELD

The Eastern Gateway Gators swept a doubleheader Friday against Clark State Community College, 11-0 and 11-7 for their fifth consecutive win.

Noah Laster threw a two-hitter and had two hits in the opener for EGCC (6-4, 2-0 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference). Evan Knaus, Jeremiah Papa, Doug Painter and Hayden Kristophel also added two for the Gators.

In the nightcap, Dylan Dickey earned the win while Evan Knaus had four hits, including a home run.

Papa added three hits and Laster, Grant Williams and Antonio Walker had two each for the Gators.

EGCC concludes their weekend swing with a doubleheader today against the Clark State beginning at 1 p.m.
