Thursday: The Warren JFK graduate shot a 2-under 69 in the first round of the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Fla. Kokrak is tied for 11th with 17 others and is three shots off the leaders, Joel Dahmen and Sepp Straka. His round included four birdies and two bogeys.

Today: Kokrak tees off at 1:58 p.m. His playing partners are Freddie Jacobson and Kelly Kraft.
