The Big Reds’ defense couldn’t hold for four quarters against the Blue Devils’ star power in the PIAA 2A state final at the Giant Center. Bellwood-Antis junior Ally Campbell was limited to three points in the first half, but the Notre Dame commit finished with a game-high 24 points. She also had six steals, three assists and five rebounds. Another Blue Devil Division I commit Sakeria Haralson — who is heading to Monmouth — added 14 points, five blocks and seven rebounds as Bellwood-Antis won back-to-back state titles. West Middlesex finished its best season in school history with a 26-4 record. The Big Reds trailed by as much as 14 points in the third quarter before Makennah White went on a one-man 7-0 run to have her team trail 51-45 heading into the fourth quarter. White had a double double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. West Middlesex’s lone senior, Karsyn Rupert, finished with 13 points and Grace Mild added 10 points.

Anna Wollet scored three goals to keep Mooney (3-0) unbeaten to start the season. Maeghan Williams, Katie Enright and Annie Daprile added two goals each for the Cardinals. Nicole and Angelina Rotunno added a goal each, as did Gabby Chahine. Annie Driscoll made 10 saves in goal for the Cardinals.
