Beeghly Oaks center for Rehabilitation and Healing hosted its first open house since completing renovations on March 14.

Recreation Director Tracy McCoy said the renovations, which began in early December 2018, were completed just a week before the open house.

“It’s really a huge difference, the building doesn’t event feel like the same place,” McCoy said.

Community members were able to come in and tour the new facilities.

Renovations on display included a newly redecorated lobby and nurses station, as well as each short term rehabilitation room.

A display room was set up for community members to view, and was decorated by McCoy.

“We want everyone to know that you can personalize your room however you want, we want it to be a reflection of you,” she said.

Forty-six community members signed up for the open house, which showcases the 44 rooms, many of which were currently available.

Beeghly Oaks will continue renovations throughout the year, branching out to their long term facility as well.

“We were so excited about the way everything came together,” McCoy said. “We just want the center to look it’s best for our guests.”
