Glacier Day planned

YOUNGSTOWN

Ohio Glacier Sports Inc., in conjunction with the Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini Foundation, will host Glacier Day on Sunday at the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Glacier Sports Inc., a nonprofit organization that is focused on helping young players optimize baseball development, is also focusing on helping their players understand the importance of lending a hand to those in need. Glacier players, parents and coaches will come together to prepare and serve meals for the entire day to clients of the mission. Breakfast and dinner will be sponsored by Simon Roofing, and lunch is being sponsored by an anonymous donor. The menu will include Dunkin Donuts coffee and bagels for breakfast, Dave’s Cosmic Subs for lunch and a Handel’s Ice Cream bar for dessert. For information, contact ohioglacierssocial@gmail.com.
