Billy Goodall leads Mount Union to win

GREENVILLE, Pa.

South Range High School graduate Billy Goodall had three hits and two RBIs as Mount Union beat Thiel 14-4 on Tuesday at Tomcat Park.

Boardman High School graduate Coleman Stauffer had an RBI single for Mount Union (10-3).

Ryan Boyd also had three hits and two RBIs for the Purple Raiders. The Tomcats dropped to 3-8.

Mount Union used four pitchers as Billy Keller struck out two batters over the first 4 1/2 innings while Tyler Gorse earned his first win of the season in relief.
