Author, sportswriter Gitlin set for Vindy Sports Live

Veteran sportswriter and author Marty Gitlin is scheduled to discuss his latest work, “The Ultimate Cleveland Indians Time Machine Book” and other baseball related topics on the next broadcast of Vindy Sports Live at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Vindy Sports Live features a rotating panel of Vindicator sports personalties, including Corey Crisan, Brian Dzenis, Dan Hiner and Tom Williams.

VSL can be seen live at 5 p.m. each Thursday on Vindy.com and on The Vindicator’s Facebook page.

Viewers can also stream the show later and listen via a podcast.

Gitlin has covered high school, college and professional sports during a newspaper career that began in the mid-1980s. He has written 150 books since 2006.

Football scouting guru Mark Porter is scheduled as the featured guest on the March 28 VSL. Porter is the man behind ScoutingOhio.com.
