The Niles Wellness Center, 213 Sharkey Drive, will host its Movie Night at 8 p.m. Friday. Participants should brings blankets or chairs for a free, big screen showing of Field of Dreams in celebration of One Book One Community 2019. Popcorn will be provided and drinks and candy will be available to purchase from vending machines. There will be chances to win prizes from the Scrappers, including a Home Run ticket package, a merchandise bundle with autographed item, a Scrappers Men’s watch and baseball bat, and a suite with 12 tickets and three parking passes. Sponsored by Mahoning Valley Scrappers, McKinley Memorial Library, and Niles Parks Department. The center also will host a health and wellness fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature exercise classes and pickle ball instruction presented by the Niles Park Department, E-Health Technology presented by the library, health screenings provided by Mercy Health, healthy snack demos presented by OSU Extension, a Kids Zone featuring bounce houses from the Scrappers, a craft from the library, hair coloring by Great Clips and vendor exhibits with giveaways. The first 300 families in attendance will receive a free baseball tote bag from the library. Get your passport stamped by 10 vendors to enter into raffle drawings.
