Virtual tour set for Tuesday

Shepherd of the Valley Poland will host a free Virtual Dementia Tour experience for community members interested in learning more about dementia from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The program is designed to help people identify with and understand the behaviors and needs of those afflicted by dementia.

Participants will have the opportunity to utilize clinically researched, patented components that simulate the effects of aging and dementia. Trained facilitators will guide participants through common, everyday tasks and exercises to experience the physical and mental challenges faced by those with dementia.
