Blue Jackets 3, Hurricanes 0

COLUMBUS

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 46 shots — including 22 in the second period — to get his sixth shutout of the season, and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Carolina Hurricanes. Adam McQuaid, David Savard and Josh Anderson scored for the Blue Jackets, who pulled even with the Hurricanes for the two wild cards in the Eastern Conference.

Maple Leafs 7, Flyers 6

TORONTO

Auston Matthews scored twice in the third period as the Toronto Maple Leafs rallied from a three-goal deficit and held on to beat the Philadelphia Flyers. Jake Muzzin had two goals and an assist, and Patrick Marleau, Zach Hyman and Martin Marincin also scored to for the Maple Leafs, who had five consecutive goals to take the lead after trailing 5-2. Toronto snapped a two-game skid.

Golden Knights 2, Stars 1

DALLAS

Ryan Reaves scored the tiebreaking goal early in the third period, and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars. Max Pacioretty scored in the opening minute of the game for Vegas, and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 40 shots — including 16 in the third period — for his 35th win. The Golden Knights have won seven of eight to remain third in the Pacific Division.
