YSU women’s golf places 2nd in Georgia


SAVANNAH, Ga.

The Youngstown State women’s golf team placed second at the SSU Spring Invitational on Thursday in Savannah, Ga. The Penguins finished one stroke behind Butler with a 27-over 315.

YSU’s Victoria Grans and Puthita Khuanrudee took the top two spots in the individual scores. Grans shot an even-72 while Khuanrudee, who competed separate from the team, was two strokes behind.

Rattika Sittigool was tied for eighth with an 80, Katlyn Shutt was tied for ninth with an 81, Jenna Vivo was tied for 10th with an 82 and Megan Creager was tied for 15th with an 84.
