Boardman elementary schools Parent Teacher Organization hosted the schools annual Valentine’s Day parties on Feb. 14.

Students spent the last 45 minutes of the day eating ice cream sundaes and playing Valentine’s Bingo.

“It’s a fun way for the students to get a break and enjoy the holiday,” said third-grade teacher Katie Curtis.

Students spent the day collecting valentine’s cards and candy from their classmates.

Each student brought in a unique Valentine’s Day card box that they kept their valentines in.

The PTO supplied the sundaes and their toppings students at all four public elementary schools.

“This is something we have done for a long time, and hope to do every year for the students,” Curtis said.
