The Youngstown State softball team was swept by Campbell in a doubleheader, 8-0, in six innings and 6-3 in the nightcap on Wedneday afternoon.

In the opener, the Penguins were limited to just four hits while the Camels banged out 10 base knocks in the victory.

YSU recaptured the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fifth on freshman Grace Cea’s sacrifice fly to left field that plated Zappitelli, who led off the inning with a triple.
Campbell, however, tied the game with a run in the bottom of the inning and Christa Hall’s three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh gave the Camels a 6-3 win.
