Miss Hannay, Adam Smith plan fall rite

Roger and Annamarie Hannay of Tallmadge and Dan and Christine Large of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their children, Katrina Hannay and Adam Smith, both of North Canton.

The couple plan to exchange vows Sept. 28 at the Chapel at Pine View Acres in Massillon. A reception will follow at the Stone Hall at Pine View Acres, also in Massillon. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in middle-level math and language arts and a master’s degree in curriculum instruction and design. She is an eighth-grade language arts teacher at Jackson Local Schools in Massillon.

Mr. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in adolescent to young adult integrated social studies education and a master’s degree in curriculum instruction and design. He is an intervention specialist at Towpath Trail High School in Akron.
