Gage Elza and Matt Church netted 16 points each to lead Bristol (20-4). Damion Durst added 13 for the Panthers, who pulled away after the game was tied at 22 at halftime. Andrews Osbrone (16-7) was led by T.J. Chapman with 21 points. Bristol advances to play Badger in the district final on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Grand Valley High School.

Springfield’s Drew Clark makes district team

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Springfield’s Drew Clark’s name was incorrectly omitted from the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association All-Northeast Inland District basketball Division IV first team released Monday. Clark, a junior, averages 17.2 points, 11 rebounds and 3.5 blocks for the Tigers, who will play in Friday’s Division IV district title game at Struthers Fieldhouse.

Tickets on Sale

Springfield — will be selling Divison IV district final tickets this week during school hours. Adults are $6 and students are $4. Tickets will also be sold during student lunches on Friday. The game is at 7 p.m. at Struthers Fieldhouse.

Poland — will sell advance tickets for its girls basketball regional final at Barberton High School on Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets will be on sale today and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday in the athletic department. Advance tickets are $7. All tickets at the door will be $8.

Crestview boys place at state indoor meet

GENEVA

The Crestview boys track team had three placers at last Saturday’s OATCCC Division 2-3 state indoor track meet at the Spire Institute.

Dominic Perry, the reigning Division III outdoor shot put champ took second indoors, with his best throw coming at 58 feet, 2 inches. Northwestern-Springfield’s Adam Riedinger won with a throw of 59-07.75.

Dylan Huff took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 20-9.25. The 4x200 relay team of Ethan Powell, Steven Barr, Dylan Huff and Jayce Meredeth took seventh with a time of 1 minute, 33.48 seconds.
