Library to offer tech class

The class “Transferring and Saving Pictures with Devices” will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Salem library’s Quaker Room, 821 E. State St. Anyone who would like to become more adept at transferring and saving photos is invited. Taught by technology trainer Kathy Bennett, participants will learn how to safely handle photos. Take a smartphone or tablet for hands-on practice. This class is for adults. Seating is limited, and registration is required. The class is provided through a Guiding Ohio Online grant made by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.
