Mahoning Garden Club will meet at noon for a sack lunch in the Tyler classroom at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks. “It’s Time to Wake Up Your Dahlias” program will be presented by Stan Vuletich. Hostesses will be Cynthia Foust and Vicki Knizat.
Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will meet at 7 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Speaker will be John Slanina, and the discussion will be maple syrup production. Coffee and doughnuts will be available at 6:30. The meeting is open to the public, and new members are welcome.

Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area will host its spring general meeting, “Tiptoe Through the Tulips,” on April 13 at Fellows Riverside Gardens. The event will be hosted by Holborn Herb Growers Guild and St. Michael Garden Guild of Canfield. A.J. Pettitti will speak, and Judy Conti’s Dancing Divas will perform. Lunch will feature fattoush salad, rosemary chicken, stuffed portabella caps, rice pilaf, garlic green beans, beverage and dessert. Cost is $20 for forum members and $25 for nonmembers. The event is open to the public. All paid reservations must be mailed to the forum office by April 1. No walk-in orders or phone reservations will be accepted.
