Poland regional tickets to be sold beginning Monday

POLAND

The Poland High School athletic department will sell advance tickets for the Division II regional semifinal against Akron Buchtel on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Barberton High School. Tickets will be on sale Monday from 12:30-4:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-noon in the athletic department. Advance tickets for students and adults cost $7. Tickets at the door will cost $8. In addition, Poland has announced that Tuesday’s parent meeting for spring sports has been moved up one hour to 5 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Policies and procedures for the upcoming spring season will be discussed. Athletes do not need to attend. If you have any questions concerning the meeting, call the Poland athletic department at 330-757-7021.

Dover-Boardman district final scheduled for Saturday

BOARDMAN

The third-seeded Boardman boys basketball team will host Dover on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a Division I sectional final in the Canton district. Sixth-seeded Dover defeated Massillon on Wednesday. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and a large crowd is expected. No advance tickets will be available. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adult and senior citizen tickets cost $6 and student tickets cost $4. Only Northeast District Athletic Board passes will be honored.
