Senior members of the Canfield High School boys basketball team and cheerleading squad were honored during Senior Night on Feb. 8.
Boys basketball team members Aydin Hanousek, Luke Pallante, Kyle Gamble, Conor Crogan and Brenden Bova, along with cheerleaders Ashley Jones, Candice Kraykovich, Isabella Audia and Bri Ventimiglia, were recognized prior to the boys varsity game versus Howland.
Basketball team manager Arthur Syrianoudis was also recognized.
The players and cheerleaders were escorted by their parents as they were announced. As they walked onto the court, the players’ and cheerleaders’ future plans and favorite memories of their basketball and cheering careers were revealed.
Varsity basketball coach Todd Muckleroy greeted the seniors and their families on the court.
Senior photo boards were on display in the athletic foyer, along with mini basketballs for the players and red and black pom-poms for the cheerleaders.
A dessert reception was offered after the game for the seniors and their families.
