Historical society to sponsor presentation

The Boardman Historical Society will sponsor a lecture by Howard Friend, a World War II veteran, at 10 a.m. March 9 at the Boardman library, 7680 Glenwood Ave. The event is free and open to the public. For reservations, call Dona Hammond at 330-726-0651.

The Boardman Historical Society meets the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. from September through May at the library for a lecture on some aspect of local history.
