Mespo Ox Roast flea market returns next weekend

MESOPOTAMIA

The 46th annual Mesopotamia Ox Roast and Antiques and Flea Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturdayand 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Sunday, at the intersection of state Routes 534 and 87.

There will be more than 160 dealers and live entertainment, roast-beef sandwiches, fries and beverages. In addition, there will be a pancake breakfast each day from 7 to 11 a.m. at the town hall.

The schedule of entertainment is as follows:

Friday: Chardon Polka Band at 10 a.m., Jungle Terry at 1 p.m., Take II at 2:30 p.m., and Fort Huntsburg Band at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday: Jonas Farmwald at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Mosquito Creek Band at 1 p.m., and Richard Sesco at 3 p.m.

July 7: Abundant Life at 10 a.m. and Family Dog at 1 p.m.

There will also be a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Summerfest at Roosevelt Park

CAMPBELL

Campbell Summerfest will take place next weekendat Roosevelt Park. Admission is free to the festival, which will include rides, games, food, a silent auction and drawings.

Hours are 4-10 p.m. Friday, and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday.

There will be a parade at noon Saturday starting from the St. Lucy’s church parking lot.

Next Sunday, there will be a fireworks display to close the festival.
