Rich Hughes, formerly of Boardman, aced the No. 15 hole at Deer Creek. He used an S club on the 148-yard shot. Witnesses were Angelo Martino and John D’Onofrio.

Kris Prince of Warren aced the 94-yard No. 5 at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club on June 27. She was playing in the Chip N Putt Ladies Golf League. She used an 8-iron for her first ace. Linda Spence and Bernie Marino witnessed the shot.

Larry Dueber of Warren aced the 102-yard No. 3 at Pine Lakes Golf Club on June 28. Dueber, 70, used a 6-iron for his first ace. Dick Baker and Dave Woitek witnessed the shot.

Fred Miller aced the 190-yard No. 6 at Lakeside Golf Course on June 28. He used a hybrid. Dave Gilder, George Shackleford and Joe Stankewich witnessed the shot.
