When: Monday, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
What: Join OSU Extension staff and trained master gardener volunteers to learn more about growing practices, helpful tips, soils, organic production and more. Bring a lawn chair for seating and a note pad. Don’t forget your weeds, diseases and insects. We’ll diagnose what’s going on in your garden, too.

RECREATIONAL HIKE
When: Wednesday, 9 a.m.
What: Join our volunteer-led recreational hike and walk at your own pace. Easy, 2 or 4 miles.
Where: Kiosk at the MetroParks Bikeway Trailhead at MetroParks Farm, Route 46, Canfield.

KAYAK BASICS
When: Next Saturday, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
What: Give kayaking a try with a little help from our kayak volunteers. Learn how to warm up, enter and exit a kayak, and spend some time practicing basic paddling techniques.
Where: Lake Glacier Boathouse, West Glacier Drive, Youngstown.
