Horizon accepting enrollments for kindergarten

YOUNGSTOWN

Horizon Science Academy Youngstown, 3403 Southern Blvd., is accepting kindergarten enrollments for 2019-20.

Any parent or guardian can pick up an enrollment packet. Also needed are the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency.

HSAY will host Kindy Camp from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 31, Aug. 1 and 2, for students who have completed registration. Registration documents must be brought to the office by July 17 for students to attend camp.

Society collecting items for veterans

LIBERTY

The Liberty Historical Society is collecting items for the local chapter of Veteran’s Outreach. Containers are located in the administration building loby at 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, which is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Items accepted are men’s clothing, personal hygiene products and nonperishable foods.

Library to host new programs

LISBON

The Lepper Library, 303 E. Lincoln Way, will host one-on-one computer and device assistance from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. Monday and July 8. Call 330-424-3117 to set up an appointment. The library also will host Adult Craft Class at 6 p.m. Monday and will make Galaxy Night Lights. Call the library to register.

There will be a Writer’s Group for teens and adults at 1 p.m. July 6. Call to register.
