Closing arguments begin in Wallace murder trial

YOUNGSTOWN — Closing arguments are underway in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court in the murder trial of Johnny Ray Wallace III, 24, in the Nov. 28, 2017, shooting death of Colin Brown, 45, at the Last Call Lounge on South Avenue.

This is the second time Wallace has gone on trial for the death of Brown. A mistrial was declared in June 2018 after jurors could not reach a verdict.

Judge Anthony Donofrio is hearing the case.
