THURSDAY

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, will host a creamed chicken takeout only dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Cost is $8 and includes creamed chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuit, mixed vegetable and homemade cookie. For information, call the church at 330-758-3143 or Noel at 330-502-5941. FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $2. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Aut Mori Grotto, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will host its monthly pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon. Menu includes all-you-can eat pancakes (only), link sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage gravy and biscuits, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 per adult, $3 for children under 11 and children under 3 eat free. The Aut Mori Grotto is a nonprofit organization comprised of master masons that supports local charities such as Akron Children’s Hospital, Sojourner House, Cerebral Palsy and dental care for challenged children under 17 years of age. SUNDAY

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oakhill Ave., Youngstown, will host “A Taste of St. Patrick’s” from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the social hall. Delicacies prepared by local and renowned cooks will be showcased. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for the best food. Tickets for the event are $20 per person, $30 per couple, and a family discount for two adults and two children, $30. Tickets for additional family members are $2 for children under 12 and $10 for age 12 and older. Only 150 tickets will be sold. Admission includes tasting tickets, beverage and bread. The event will also include a basket raffle and a 50-50 raffle. Children up to age 12 will have the opportunity to enjoy the Kids Corner with their own food and a variety of activities at the Needle’s Eye located across the street from the church. Parents can bring children to the Needle’s Eye before they go to the social hall. Four mothers will be supervising the children as they participate in several activities, including a scavenger hunt. Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, will offer drive-through spaghetti dinners from 3 to 6 p.m. June 27. The menu includes spaghetti featuring the church’s meat sauce, tossed salad, roll with butter and dessert. Cost is $8 per dinner (cash only), and proceeds assist with ministry expenses. North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, North Lima, will host a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. June 29. An all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch will be available for a donation. Menu includes eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade pastries, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages.
