MALIBU PUNCH

1/2bottle Malibu Rum
1large can pineapple juice
1small tub pineapple sherbet
12-liter bottle ginger ale or 7-UP
Combine rum, pineapple juice and 3/4 bottle of pop in punch bowl. Add medium-sized dollops of sherbet.
ORIENTAL SALAD

1/2cup sugar
1/3cup white vinegar
2oriental Ramen flavor packets
1cup oil (or less)
1cup sunflower seeds
2packs oriental Ramen noodles
Cranberries (desired amount)
1cup almond slices
1package coleslaw
Mix vinegar with the flavor packets. Combine vinegar mixture, sugar and oil together. Add coleslaw, almonds, sunflower seeds and cranberries. Mix well. Break noodles into bite-sized pieces and stir.
YUMMY GARLIC BREAD

1/4cup creamy Caesar salad dressing
1loaf Italian bread, halved lengthwise
1/2cup Fontina cheese
1tablespoon Parmesan cheese
1teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spread dressing over cut sides of bread. Place halves, cut side up, onto ungreased baking sheet. In small bowl, toss cheese together; dividing equally over bread halves. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
EASY ICE CREAM DESSERT

1box frozen ice cream sandwiches (12)
1/2cup caramel sauce
1/2cup nuts, chopped
1jar Maraschino cherries
1small tub whipped cream
3Heath bars, crushed
In a 9- by 13-inch pan (not glass), line frozen ice cream bars on bottom, cutting bars to fit. Spread, in layers, the caramel sauce, nuts and cherries. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle Heath bars over ice cream. Freeze until ready to serve. Nuts, cherries, caramel sauce and heath bars can be substituted.

This is a collection of recipes compiled by committee members of the Carrie Trautman Peska Memorial Nursing Scholarship in memory of Carrie Peska. Their hope is to help future nurses give back to others the way they believe Carrie did during her 22-year nursing career.
