MVHS to offer summer camp

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will offer its Summer Day Camp from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to June 28 at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St. Participants will learn about the history of radio and television broadcasting on both a large scale and locally. Students will tour local stations and studios, learn from local media personalities and experts, work with the business and media archives and create their own news broadcast about a local history topic. Grove City College offers online courses

Grove City College is offering a slate of affordable online courses this summer for students seeking to earn college credit at a discount and adult learners who want to expand their horizons. Registration is open now for the late summer session.

This is the first time that the nationally-ranked private Christian college has opened up its online courses to students who are not already enrolled in the college.

DPMV to host scholarship dinner

The Diabetes Partnership of the Mahoning Valley will host its scholarship dinner at 6:30 p.m. June 25 at Stonebridge Grille and Tavern, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road. DPMV will provide the dinner, so registration is due by Sunday.
