MONDAY

Garden Gate Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. to discuss cinder block garden planters. Co-hostess will be Marcella DePinto.

TUESDAY

Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 6 p.m. at the Masters Pavilion in Boardman Park for a picnic, rain or shine. Members are to take a covered dish or dessert; the main course will be provided.

WEDNESDAY

St. Michael Garden Guild will tour Beech Creek Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve in Alliance for its annual summer trip. The group will meet at the church parking lot, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield, and the carpool will leave at 9 a.m. Members are to take a sack lunch. Cost is $8. For information, call 330-533-5170.

THURSDAY

Johnny Appleseed Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. for “A History of Fashion,” presented by Tracy Manning of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society. Hostess will be Paula Ulicny, and co-hostess will be Sonia Tsvetkoff.
