The Motskos honored for diamond jubilee

POLAND

Sam and Nancy Motsko of Poland recently were honored for their 60th anniversary with a pizza and wine party at A Time to Dance in Niles. The celebration was hosted by friends of the couple.

The couple’s children are Kathy (Barry) Swoboda of Poland; John (Michele) Motsko of Panacea, Fla.; and Sam Motsko Jr. of Struthers. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild complete their family.

Mr. Motsko married the former Nancy Harklerode on May 16, 1959, at John Hus Lutheran Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Motsko was a pharmacy clerk at Wittenauer Pharmacy in Poland until she retired in 2002.

Mr. Motsko was a mechanic for General Electric in Youngstown until he retired in 1998.

The couple are members of Good Hope Lutheran Church.
