Simon Road Church of God, 4750 Simon Road, will host a 25-cent sale from 9 to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be furniture and miscellaneous items.

Library to host tech class Thursday

SALEM

The Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host “Take Tech Traveling and Make Traveling Easier” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Participants will learn ways to utilize technology while travelling. If possible, bring a device to practice on as technology instructor Kathy Bennett provides instruction and answers questions.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or call the library for assistance at 330-332-0042. This class is free and open to the public. The class is provided through a Guiding Ohio Online grant made by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.

Exhibit available through Sept. 15

The first joint exhibit of the Mahoning Valley and Trumbull County Historical societies, “On the Banks of the Mahoning: How the River Shaped the Valley,” will be available today through Sept. 15 at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St..
