Church to host community picnic

YOUNGSTOWN

Martin Luther Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, will host its Unity in the Community Picnic with councilwoman Anita Davis from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Food and drinks will be provided with evening prayer to follow. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

YWCA to host conference

The YWCA Mahoning Valley, 25 W. Rayen Ave., will host its second Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Registration will take place at 4:30. Missionary Society to host breakfast

The First Congregational Church of Wayne Women’s Missionary group will host a breakfast bonanza from 8 to 11 a.m. June 15 or until sold out, at Wayne Town Hall, at the corner of state Routes 322 and 193. Menu consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, pancakes, juice, coffee and more. Proceeds benefit missionaries. Donations only. All fathers can enter a free drawing to win a gift basket.
