In a wild, back and forth battle, Avalanche fended off DuraEdge late and won the game at Bob Cene Park on Monday. Joel Kreuzwieser picked up the win in relief for Avalanche, while Dylan Hetrick suffered the loss for DuraEdge. Carmen Cavalier recorded the final outs of the game to record the save. Bobby Cavalier helped lead the way for Avalanche with a pair of hits, including a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Noah Ross had two hits, a run and an RBI while John King added two hits and two runs scored to the winning effort. Zach Rhodanz added a hit and two RBI while Marshall Weinbugh drove in two runs of his own in the Avalanche victory. Braeden O’Shaughnessy helped lead the DuraEdge offense with two hits, two RBI and a run scored. Andrew Sabella slugged a two-run double among his two hits and scored a run while Juston Jones added an RBI double to help total out his two hits, while scoring twice in the game. Tyler Robinson smoked an RBI triple and also touched home in the game for DuraEdge.

Knightline 2, Eagle Wear 0

Jack Kartsonas tossed a two-hit shutout Monday to help propel Knightline. Kartsonas struck out seven while walking three in a brilliant performance. Caleb Quinn was saddled with a tough loss for Eagle Wear, yielding just two runs on three hits in a complete game outing, while striking out five and walking three as well. Travis Harvey drove in both runs in the game with a two-run triple. Trevor Strohmeyer, who scored one of the two runs on Harvey’s triple, had the only other hit in the game for Knightline. Christian Myers hit a double for Eagle Wear.

Knightline 8, Whiting Roll-Offs 0

Kenny Misik and Zach Yaksulka each had two hits and two RBIs and scored twice in Tuesday’s game. One of Misik’s hits was a double. Travis Harvey had two hits and scored once while Colton Stoneman had two hits and three RBIs. For Whiting, Sean Davis had two hits.

DuraEdge 5, Prospects 0

Cooper Baxter had two doubles and two RBIs and scored once while Mike Galterio and Brady Shannon each had a hit and scored for DuraEdge on Tuesday. Jeremy Kreuzwieser pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out 10.

Creekside Fitness 13, Avalanche 5

Patrick Copple had two hits and scored three times in Tuesday’s game. John Quahliero had two hits and scored twice. Benny Dottle had three hits, an RBI and three runs scored. Koby Zupko had two hits and three RBIs, and scored twice for Creekside. Anthony Koulianos had a double and RBI for Avalanche.
