Wine fest announces artisan vendors

The Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau has announced the artisan vendors for the 2019 Columbiana Wine Festival, which will take place July 19 and 20 at Town Center at Firestone Farms, 101 Town Center Ave. In addition to live music, food trucks and samplings from seven area wineries, the two-day event features juried arts and crafts by: Accents by Patti, Artifacts Gift Studio, Columbiana Growler LLC, Darrel’s Designs, G & L Treasures, Goodness Grows, Metal Master, Nectar of the Vine, Peace, Love & Silk, Sweets by Deb, The Wood-Crate and Unique Bottle Serving Trays. Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the gate (must be 21 years of age to participate) and available online at http://bit.ly/2019WineFest and at the following retail locations: Columbiana Area Tourism Bureau Office, Diletto Winery (Boardman), Moondance Boutique (Firestone Farms) and Wine Connection (Columbiana). Point 5K Fun Run set

The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley will host a Point 5K Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. July 13 at White House Fruit Farm, 9249 Youngstown-Salem Road. Cost is $5 for individuals, $15 for families or virtual and $50 for someone to walk in your place. Online registration should be done at www.rescuemissionmv.org. There will be a doughnut stop at the half-way mark, a selfie station and car decals for participants. Parking is available at White House Farms, follow signs for where to park and begin the race/walk. Proceeds benefit the Rescue Mission annual fund.
