DIVISION I
AUSTINTOWN FITCH — The girls 4x100 relay of Hallie Renda, Logan Franczkowski, Jenna Rodgers and Alina Williams did not make the finals. Madison Skelly (pole vault) and Deondre McKeever (high jump) compete today.
BOARDMAN — Micah Beckwith qualified for the seated 800 finals with the eighth-best time at 2 minutes, 36.13 seconds. He missed out on the podium in the seated shot put by about three inches. Due to a weather delay, the remaining prelims for the seated 100 and seated 400 were moved to today and will run as a multi-heat time trial rather than a prelim and final system. David Merdich competes in the shot put today.
CANFIELD — Giovanni Copploe (3200) races today as does Cody Piver (seated 100).
HOWLAND — William Hines failed to make the finals in the 100. Vincent Mauri (3200) and Madison Sisler (high jump) compete today.
NILES — Chante Clinkscale made the finals of the 100 with the eighth-best time of 12.39.
WARREN HARDING — JeSean Sledge made the finals in the 300 hurdles with the fourth-best time at 38.27.
DIVISION II
BEAVER LOCAL — Despite starting as one of the lower seeds, freshman James Monte finished the prelims with the second-best time in his heat and fourth-best overall at 14.91. Teddi Kinsey did not make the finals of the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles.
EAST — Giovanni Washington won his heat of the 100 and sits 0.23 seconds behind CVCA’s Tre Tucker for today’s final. Kyndia Matlock has the fourth-best time in both the 100 (12.14) and the 200 (25.06). Tobias Hayes clipped a few hurdles while failing to qualify for the 110 hurdles but later redeemed himself by recording the third-best time in the 200 (21.97). He’s 0.27 seconds behind Tucker, the leader. The boys 4x100 relay (Hayes, Latwon Jordan, Isaih Lewis, Washington) earned the third-best time at 1:28.95 while making the finals. Neither of the girls 4x200 (DeShante Allen, Jasmine Davis, Iyana Dixon, Laniya Lewis) nor 4x100 (Allen, Airess Cross, Lewis, Matlock) made the final. Latwon Jordan did not make the final of the 100.
EAST LIVERPOOL — Michael Billingsley didn’t make the finals in either the 100 or the 200. Cameron Beverley competes in the high jump today.
GIRARD — Nick Malito made the finals in the 100 with the eighth-best time at 11.05. Daryl Smith failed to make the finals in the shot put. Smith will throw the discus today while Jalaya Brown does the long jump.
HUBBARD — Seth Jones throws the discus today.
LAKEVIEW — Ashley Bowker made the finals 110 hurdles with the sixth-fastest time at 15.37 and made the 300 hurdles finals with the seventh-best time of 45.25. Liam Boivin made the finals in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.92. Danaysha Mauzy failed to make the finals in the 100. Ethan Dobler (1600) runs today.
POLAND — The girls 4x400 relay of Nina Centofanti, Jackie Grisdale, Chloe Kosco and Mia Musolino made the finals with the fifth-best time of 4:03.36. The girls 4x200 relay of Ava Izenour, Kosco, Musolino and Gabby Romano took the last spot in the finals by a margin of seven hundredths of a second. Mia Musolino did not make the finals of the 200. Kosco does the long jump today.
SALEM — The girls 4x800 relay of Halle Cochran, Clara Double, Carly Hall and Haley Rozeski placed eighth with a time 9:33.27 while the boys 4x800 (Trey Double, Jackson Corbisello, Cameron Christopher, Hunter Christopher) finished 13th overall. Abbie Antram took 10th in the discus with her best throw going 125-04. Zach Murray (110 hurdles and 300 hurdles) and the boys 4x200 relay (Turner Johnson, Josh Lehwald, Zach Murray, Jess Paumier) failed to reach the finals. Hunter Christopher (3200) Carly Hall (1600) and Rozeski (800) race today. Cooper Stockman also throws the discus today.
SOUTH RANGE — Jordan Lowery placed 18th in the shot put with his best throw going 43-10.
STRUTHERS — Aiden Hall advanced to the finals of the 400 with the fourth-best time of 49.41.
WEST BRANCH — Jeff Joseph (3200) and Brandon Zuchowski (high jump) compete today.
DIVISION III
BADGER — Kiersten Tricker placed fourth in the high jump with her best height coming at 5-04. Brandon Greathouse advanced to the finals in the 110 hurdles with the seventh-best time at 15.47, but failed to qualify in the 300 hurdles. With a team of Jimmy Plunkett, Tanner Houser, Brandon Greathouse and Scotlund Shaffer the Braves made the final in the 4x400 relay with the sixth-best time in the field at 3:26.84. Suzanne Shaffer failed to make the finals in the high jump. Lincoln Hopkins (1600) and Miranda Stanhope (1600, 3200) race today.
BRISTOL — Sydney Fenstermark placed eighth in the shot put.
BROOKFIELD — Bailey Drapola failed to make the finals in the long jump.
CRESTVIEW (BOYS) — Jayce Meredith failed to advance in the 400, placing 15th overall with a time of 51.65. Dylan Huff made the finals for the 200 with a time of 22.44.
LABRAE — Dynesty Ervin made the finals in both the 100 and 200 with the fourth (12.60) and third-best (25.35) times, respectively.
LIBERTY— By a difference of two hundredths of a second, the boys 4x100 relay squad of Braylen Stredrick, Migel Burgess, Justin Cizmar and Zion Matlock made the finals with a seventh-best time of 44.16. Alyssa Wilson failed to make the finals in the shot put.
LISBON — Izzy Perez failed to advance in the 100 and 200 with the 16th-place finishes across both prelims.
LORDSTOWN — Jermaine Jones made the finals of the 400 by running a time of 50.36 to record the eighth-best time.
MAPLEWOOD — The Rockets’ 4x400 relay squad of Mabel Crouch, Emily Butler, Kylee Sheely and Marissa Ventura failed to advance to the finals, placing 11th overall.
MATHEWS — Claire Miller failed to make the finals in the discus and shot put.
MCDONALD — The boys 4x800 relay squad of Brody Rupe, Greg Dickson, Connor Symbolik and Zack Canada took the bronze medal with a time of 8:02.90. East Canton won with a time of 7:56.34. The girls 4x400 relay of Jessica Stamp, Bella Wolford, Sela Jones and Brooke Lewis made the finals with a seventh-best time of 4:04.82. Neither the girls 4x200 relay (Naomi Domitrovich, Brooke Lewis, Jessica Stamp, Bella Wolford) nor the boys 4x400 relay (Alex Cintron, Greg Dickson, Brody Rupe, Tyler Worell) made the finals. Cam Tucker (high jump) and Trinity Hobbs (discus) did not make the finals of their respective events. Guerra (3200), Rupe (1600) and Wolford (800) race today.
MINERAL RIDGE — Danielle Aulet is racing today in the 800.
NEWTON FALLS — Libby Barreca failed to reach the finals in discus and shot put.
SPRINGFIELD — While he’s in the finals for the 400 and 4x200 relay, Garrett Walker did not qualify for the finals in the 100 and 200.
UNITED — Jaret Hahn advanced to the finals of the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.39. Hannah Minor (800) is running today.
WARREN JFK — Jesse Likens failed to advance to the finals in both the 100 and the 200.
WELLSVILLE — Justin Wright enters today’s 100 and 200 finals as the No. 1 seed with times of 10.79 and 21.75, respectively.
WESTERN RESERVE — Josh Miller placed fourth in the long jump at 22-2. Ryan Henry placed ninth in the shot put with his best throw coming at 51-10.75.
VALLEY CHRISTIAN — Brandon Paige made the finals in the 100 by finishing third in his prelim running an 11.22.
