Austintown Fitch High School Class of 1959 will celebrate its 60-year class reunion Aug. 30 and 31. Class members will meet and greet from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at Hollywood Gaming, at 9 a.m. Aug. 31 for breakfast at Davidson’s Restaurant and finish the day at 5 p.m. with social hour and dinner at The Upstairs. Austintown Fitch High School Class of 1971 will host a catered get together Sept. 1 at the Stacy Pavilion at Austintown Township Park on Kirk Road. (air conditioned and private bathrooms). The meet-and-greet will begin at noon with a casual picnic-style meal served from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $15 per person and reservations are due by Thursday. Plans for the 50th reunion in 2021 will be discussed. Feel free to bring any momentos or pictures from the past to share. Cardinal Mooney Class of 1969 will celebrate its 50-year class reunion Aug. 9-11 with a semi-formal affair Aug. 10 at the Holiday Inn Boardman. A meet-and-greet will take place at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Magic Tree Pub and Eatery on South Avenue. A picnic is scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 11 at Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park. East High School Class of 1949 will meet at noon today at TJ’s Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., Boardman. All are welcome.

E.G. and Anna Mae Hood 73rd annual family reunion will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Diehl Lake Clubhouse, 11185 S. Kiwatani Trail, Canfield. Chicken, cold drinks and coffee will be provided, and those attending are asked to take their own table service, a casserole, dessert or salad to share, lawn chairs and swim suits (a pool and lake will be available for swimming and fishing).

Mineral Ridge Alumni will host its annual scholarship banquet from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 10 at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Cost is $35 per person, and reservations must be made by Tuesday. For information, call Pam Sedlock-Mayfield at 330-652-5784. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

Mineral Ridge High School Class of 1967 will celebrate members’ 70th birthdays during the Mineral Ridge Alumni Scholarship Banquet on Aug. 10 at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre. Mohawk Area Alumni Association will host its 11th annual reunion at 6 p.m. Aug. 3 at Mohawk Junior Senior High School, 385 Mohawk School Road, New Castle, in the cafeteria. The event will honor Mohawk High School’s Class of 1969. The class of 1968 is handling registration and the class of 1970 will provide refreshments. All graduates, attendees, teachers or workers of the Bessemer-Mahoning Township, Big Beaver Township, Mount Jackson, Enon Valley, New Beaver Borough and Wampum schools are invited. Dress is casual. O’Conner Family Reunion will take place at noon Aug. 4 at Grove City Park on West Main Street. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. All family members are asked to take a covered dish and a dessert or fruit to share along with their own plates and utensils.
