Davis Family YMCA hosts senior art show

The Davis Family YMCA recently hosted its ninth “Centered: Slightly Off-Center” senior-citizen art show which featured 40 artists from residential assisted-living and nursing homes. Special awards were presented to Claudette Cook, Best of Show; Ben Philibin, Ruth Ricci and Donna Shilling, Juror’s Awards; and Edith DeGregorio, Perseverance Award. The first-, second- and third-place winners from each residence are:

Antonine Villages: Patricia Thurston, Maggie Verdream and Helen Yurchion

Briarfield at Ashley Circle: Ron Byer, Donna Adams, Teresa Hickson and Maria Dinsio (tie)

Inn at Glenellen: Cliff West, Dorothie Wiley and June Sharish

Inn at Ironwood: Maryann Pusateri, Bessie Mayorga and Barb McDonald

Inn at Poland Way: Theresa Maceyko, Pat Lee and Carol Franken
