Easterseals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

Wednesday, July 24: Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, juice, whole grain bread and milk

Thursday, July 25: Egg frittata, broccoli, sliced potatoes, pineapple tidbits, whole grain English muffin and milk

Friday, July 26: Potato pirogies with butter and onions, mixed vegetables, cooked carrots, juice whole grain bread, cookie and milk

Monday, July 29: Sausage and cheese on English muffin, cooked carrots, potato wedges, pineapple tidbits and milk

Tuesday, July 30: Soft taco on whole grain wrap, pinto beans, corn, tropical fruit and milk

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, July 24: Diced turkey and cheddar salad with ranch dressing (alt.: diced ham), roasted vegetables, dinner rolls with margarine, pears, mini loaf or vanilla wafers and milk

Thursday, July 25: Honey mustard chicken sandwich on a bun (alt.: breaded fish), Parmesan red potatoes, mixed vegetables, peaches, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Friday, July 26: Penne with meatballs and sauce (alt.: chicken tenders), bread with margarine, green beans, tossed salad with Italian dressing, fresh fruit, cupcake or angel food cake and milk

Monday, July 29: Omelet with cheese (alt.: barbecued pulled pork), turkey-sausage, whole grain English muffin with jelly, breakfast potatoes, warm cinnamon apples, fruit juice, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Tuesday, July 30: Cold ranch chicken salad on a sandwich bun with lettuce (alt.: egg salad), fresh baby carrots with ranch dressing, creamy cucumbers, fresh melon, sherbet or sugar free cookie and milk
