Damous-Johnson wedding to be event of Aug. 17

YOUNGSTOWN

Anna Sutton-Damous and Jackie Johnson, both of Youngstown, are announcing their engagement. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late John Edward Sutton Jr. and Elnora Redenia Greenlee-Sutton.

The prospective groom is a son of Erma Jean Dawson of Youngstown and the late Robert Johnson.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Aug. 17 at the OCCHA Reception Hall in Youngstown. A reception will follow. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from ITT Technical Institute, Youngstown State University and Kendelle School of Cosmetology. She was a secretary for 30 years and a pharmacy technician for 10 years at Southside and Northside medical centers and at Giant Eagle Pharmacy.

Mr. Johnson is a driver for Penske Trucking of Mt. Hope. He also drove for Youngstown Sheet & Tube, JB Hunt, and CR England Trucking.
