Easterseals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

Wednesday, July 17: Diced chicken, biscuits with gravy, carrots and peas, juice and milk

Thursday, July 18: Turkey burger, bun, baked beans, green beans, pineapple tidbits and milk

Friday, July 19: Omelet, tater tots, broccoli, juice, whole-grain bread, cookie and milk

Monday, July 22: Chicken taco, whole-grain shell, beans, carrots, applesauce and milk

Tuesday, July 23: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, peas, peaches, whole-grain bread and milk

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, July 17: Southwest meatloaf (alt.: haddock), wheat bread with margarine, scalloped potatoes, wax beans, mandarin oranges, ice cream or vanilla wafers and milk
