SENIOR CITIZENS


Canfield AARP 3104 will sponsor a bus trip to Jamestown, N.Y., Sept. 17 to 18. Participants will tour the Lucille Ball Museum, the Desilu Playhouse, Valvo’s Candy Factory, National Comedy Center, dinner cruise on Lake Chautauqua and more. There will be a mystery trip in November. Nonmembers are welcome at meetings and on bus trips. For membership information, call Connie at 330-332-0121.

Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch is $4 per member and will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games. PERI, Mahoning County Chapter 18 will meet at noon Aug. 6 at the Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Cost is $13, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. The speaker will be a social worker from the Adult Protective Agency of Mahoning County. All public employees and retirees under O.P.E.R.S. are invited to join the Mahoning County Chapter 18 meetings. Meetings will take place at noon Oct. 1 and Dec. 3 at Avion on the Water. Membership fee to join is $10 annually and can be paid at the meeting. Spouses may also join for a yearly $5 fee as associate members.
