Alex Hawkins had two hits, an RBI and scored once and JC Philippi had a triple and scored once for the Terriers. John Ritter and Trevor Strohmeyer each had two hits for Knightline.

STRUTHERS

Zach Yaskulka had a double, triple and an RBI while Mason McCurdy had three hits and scored once and Travis Harvey and Trevor Strohmeyer each had a double for Knightline.

Astro Falcons 4, Creekside Fitness 1

STRUTHERS

Astro Falcons took a 2-0 lead in the five-game series. Logan Bell went the distance to record the win for Astro, allowing just one run on five hits, while striking out six and walking three. Grant Metzger took the loss for Creekside, yielding four runs on nine hits in six innings of work, while striking out two and walking only one. Connor Miller slugged a pair of doubles in the game for Astro, scoring a run and driving in another. Lucas Gulczynski had two hits and scored twice in the contest. Ricky Havrilla and Brayden Beck each had an RBI hit in the win for Astro. Metzger hit an RBI double, driving in Harrison Pontoli for the only run of the game for Creekside.

NABF 14 WORLD SERIES

Eagle Wear 12, Lake Erie Warhawks 0

STRUTHERS

Logan Cayavec picked up the win for Eagle Wear, allowing just one hit in three shutout innings, while striking out three and walking only one. Perry Miller took the loss for Lake Erie, allowing ten runs to score in just over an inning of work. Eli Boivin helped lead the offense for Eagle Wear with two hits, including a triple, three runs scored and two RBI. Jake Hettrick had two hits, including a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Bryce Barringer slugged a double of his own among his two hits and drove in three runs while Tyler Capan added a pair of hits and a pair of runs scored to the winning effort. Ethan Prout contributed a hit, two RBI and three runs scored to the Eagle Wear cause. Nathan Krugman hit a double in the game for the Warhawks.

A2Z Athletics 10, Canes 1

STRUTHERS

Nate Rynd pitched a complete game for the win for A2Z, yielding just an unearned run on five hits, while striking out eight and walking only one. Kevin Denry suffered the loss for Canes, giving up four runs in just 3 1/3 innings worked. Parker Lyons helped lead a balanced Athletics assault with two hits, three runs scored and an RBI. Jarrod Malagise had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Not to be outdone, Anthony Malagise had two hits of his own, two RBI and a run scored. Rynd helped himself out at the dish with two hits and two RBI in the win. Denry hit an RBI double in the game for Canes Baseball.

Astro Falcons 4, Release Baseball 1

STRUTHERS

Seth Cervello picked up the win for Astro, scattering six hits in four shutout innings, striking out three and walking only one. Kyan Barnes got saddled with the loss for Release, allowing all four runs to score on eight hits in five innings pitched, while striking out three and walking two. Anthony Miller pitched a scoreless seventh inning to record the save. Cervello did himself a favor at the plate, recording two hits, including a double, scoring a run and driving in one more.
