‘Mamma Mia!’ returns to Playhouse

The Youngstown Playhouse will revive its hit production of “Mamma Mia!” for seven performances over two weekends, beginning Friday. Tickets are $15 ($12 for students and senior citizens) at the box office, at theyoungstownplayhouse.com and by calling 330-788-8739. The cast is largely the same as the December production, with a few key replacements, including Brandy Johanntges (above, center, as Donna Sheridan). She is flanked by returning cast members Tina Cummings and Jill Cataldi. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and also July 18, 19 and 20; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and July 21. “Mamma Mia!” has a feel-good plot that is based on the songs of the pop band ABBA.
